About Us

The Torres family has been in Trinidad, Colorado for generations and currently own two other local businesses in addition to Blaze’s Mexi Grill. Blaze’s was named after the family's youngest son who helps in the restaurant and sometimes makes deliveries. A hard-working good person, just like the rest of the family.

The Torres family's local take on comfort food is delicious and comforting, filling your belly and making the day a little better. The smiles and cheerful banter offered by staff brighten it even more. If you have a sweet tooth, you can always run down to Commercial Street and visit the I Love Sugar sweet shop, also owned and operated by the Torres family.
